Pereen d'Avoine is an award winning architect based in London. The daughter of two generations of architects, Pereen worked at practices in London and Mumbai, before founding Russian For Fish in 2005, which she now co-directs with Nilesh Shah. Working across renovations, new-builds and extensions for both residential and commercial clients, Russian For Fish designs are characterised as elegant, playful and innovative. The practice is renowned as one of the most successful small architecture studios working in London and the South East, with projects frequently shortlisted for awards and featured in design and architecture press.

With the first visit in summer 2017, this podcast features the original conversation, with a second part podcast coming soon with a catch up chat from spring 2019.

The fourth chapter of Métier celebrates Awon Golding, an award winning milliner based in east London. Moving from Hong Kong to train as a milliner in the hat capital, Awon quickly made waves in the industry with her stunning creations; her hats have graced the heads of, amongst others, Meghan Markle, Lady Gaga, Kylie Minogue, Dita Von Teese and Priyhanka Chopra, as well as a wide range of loyal customers, wearing her hats at Ascot, weddings and events. After years working within social housing, Valli now works as a placemaker in East London, on a large site next to the River Lea. With the conversation ranging from her early career in South Africa, to embedding herself for years in an area to understand it better, Valli describes her life designing a neighbourhood that people want to live in. With responsibilities ranging from commissioning and working with artists to design pathways, to choosing who runs the schools in the new community, Valli offers a fascinating human glimpse behind the blanket label of ‘developer'.

Now a successful, trend-setting business, Hey Saturday supports the UKs photography industry across the country, and provides the UKs daters' with beautiful, natural photographs for their profiles. An expert on the dating world, Saskia cuts an impressive figure, speaking and blogging regularly across the globe, whilst running the kind of business she wants to work for; one of high standards and ethics.

Grace Gelder plays with the usual power dynamics within photoshoots, and works with clients over periods of time to manifest intentions, work on body issues and come to a greater understanding of themselves. After marrying herself in 2011, Grace has done extensive personal development work in order to support and investigate the idea of self-image and self-worth.
