A completely unique and thoroughly entertaining look at TV movies

The world of podcasting is saturated with samey ideas and concepts, so it's refreshing to have found Made for TV Mayhem; a show that explores an entirely new subject. Amanda, Dan and Nate are incredibly knowledgeable, and ridiculously entertaining to boot. The trio plough through TV movie double-bills, appealing not only to those who grew up with the TV movie as a ritualistic part of their lives, but also to those (like myself!) who know very about the subject. You'll get recommendations, and a wealth of great research and trivia too.

Amanda holds court with steady references and a guiding hand (and even a bit of good-natured sass when she's tired), Dan speaks eloquently about the subject at hand (he's classy and well-spoken), and Nate steps in with sharp slices of info, and a rather lovely Southern accent. It's a good chemistry and, well, they're so bloody polite aren't they? That's a good thing!

If you want to hear something genuinely quite original and interesting in a sea of copycat podcasts, check out Made for TV Mayhem. You may well learn something, and you'll have a ton of fun doing so. This is alluring ear candy for the podcast addict.

Informed, passionate and engaging

Having listened to a select group of podcasts for several years, I have found it increasingly difficult to expand my listening base. Maybe I am getting jaded or my favourite podcasts have set the bar too high to allow a new show into the fold until now... This fantastic and dare I say unique podcast offers insight without pretension striking the perfect balance between light hearted delivery and in depth information. It may have took a while but I finally have a new podcast to add to my subscriptions and very much look forward to the next episode.
After such a strong and confident start I recommend all horror fans subscribe now.
