Inspired by the placebo effect, Dr Hamilton left the pharmaceutical industry to write books that help people harness their mind and emotions to improve their health. David is also featured in the award-winning documentary, ‘HEAL’. He has authored 11 books; his newest book ‘Why Woo Woo Works’ looks at the science and effectiveness of alternative practices.
Marisa and David speak about the healing power of the mind, and the specific techniques that can help turn illness to wellness. David also opens up about his own experience of depression and how he took the first steps to recovery.
