Can I Trust You Again? w/ Shonda B. White

This week's special guest is Shonda White. Shonda is super special to me because she wrote a book that changed my life a few years back. Don't be a Wife to a Boyfriend, sat in my Kindle for months before I actually opened it and absorbed all it had to offer. Shonda is a Life Coach, Author, and Marketing Genius. She's been featured on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, Essence Live, and XoNecole. This week we're talking about trust. We have 3 Heart to Heart letters that we dive into and really point out how important trust is in relationships. Tune in and enjoy! Shonda B. Tapestry of a Survivor w/ Marlisse Hardamon

Tapestry of a Survivor w/ Marlisse Hardamon

This week's episode is by far one of our heaviest episodes to date. Our special guest Marliese Hardamon shares her horrifying story of being sexually assaulted on numerous occasions and how it shaped her into becoming the woman she is today. She has not only transformed her life but the lives of countless young men and women who share similar experiences. Although this episode is tough, it serves as a constant reminder that we have to take our power back and once we've been rescued from pain, we need to turn around and help others.

Awesome Interview

Currently listening to the Kerry-Ann Reid-Brown episode and so much of what she is saying sounds familiar down to the shifting accents which reflects our still existing cultural influences. Melissa does a great job to create an enjoyably conversational platform for her guests.
