Millie Mackintosh: From Reality TV to Alcohol Free Sober Awkward

    • Society & Culture

What a pleasure it is to bring you the second of our Sober Awkward interview guests. This month we welcome to the podcast Millie Mackintosh!
You may know Millie from Made in Chelsea or her work as a fashion and beauty icon representing brands like L'Oreal, Ralph Lauren and House of Fraser. Millie shares stories of how her life has not always been glitzy and glamorous. and takes a deeper look at the possible causes of her unhealthy relationship with booze.
Millie gave up alcohol almost exactly a year ago (her 1st soberversary is August 25th!) after discovering that it was causing her anxiety.
Hamish and Millie sat down during Hame's recent trip home and they discussed in great detail their shared experiences of their first year going sober. From the highs of having more time on your hands to the lows of still getting hangovers and feeling more self conscious on dance floors!
Millie seems to be loving her new alcohol free life. She is integrating herself into the sober community and helping spread the news through her social media platforms.
We couldn't be happier to invite her onto the podcast after the love she has shown us as one of our devoted listeners!
We hope you enjoy the podcast!
