This Sunday we continued our 'Church Alive' sermon series. In this sermon, 'Mission: Engaging the City, Paul is both engaged with the culture of the city, and yet critical of it. In Acts 17:16-34, we see a model for how Christians speak to their city about the gospel. Paul is able to show how the gospel brings to fulfilment the longings of the human heart, even when the heart doesn’t realise it’s longing for God.
