The MOMBcast is the official podcast of MOMB - where geek pursuits are the Monkey On Our Back!
It is the best weekly comicbook podcast recorded on a Thursday night in Southampton, England. Come listen as James, Jane, Nick - and the occasional guest monkey - ramble on about stuff and nonsense, and eventually get round to talking about comics. We're aided in this by a roster of great contributors, and every week we'll spotlight a comicbook from the past that we think will enrich your life!
(This is the main feed, including all episodes, annuals & extras.)
It's show 250! Nick and James talk about stuff & comics, and James spotlights an Asterix book. Contributions from George and Timothy! Textbook MOMBcast!
In our 249th episode, Nick and Steev talk this week's comics, changes at Comixology, and in the spotlight Steev talks about Friends With Boys by Faith Erin Hicks.
Nick talks about this week's comics, and James tries desperately hard to recapture the heart of one particular listener.
Nick and James talk about comics and controversy in comics, and Captain America. And a special guest drops in. From the air vents.
Weird filler episode alert! This episode is 70% contributors, and about comics!
My favourite podcast (recorded on a Thursday night...)
Weekly UK-based comics podcast that's been going on for a while now. I’ve found loads of great things to read because of it. It does follow a structure, but it doesn’t get repetitive week-after-week, and is always an informative listen.
The hosts seem to really know and love comics, and are great at having a conversation about them. This is what keeps me coming back!
The MOMB crew provide an entertaining and wide ranging show. Recommended!
The hosts have good chemistry and you can tell they are having a good laugh doing this show, they review a good range of comics, talk about the latest goings on in the comic world and I really like the idea of the spotlight section where they talk in depth about one particular comic each episode.
