Discussion about my job as a teacher: well being, tips, special guests and hopefully a bit of a laugh.
Who you gonna call?
I’m back!! This is just a little episode about what I’ve been up to this last half term and the wait for the call from the big ‘O’ lol!
How to say no and get your life back!
I am very excited to have Martin ‘theteacherspt’ and Charlie ‘the.teachers.health.coach’ on the podcast this week! This episode is full of solid gold. We talk about our journey as teachers, workload and stress issues that we have encountered how we have turned that around, with practical tips to help claw back that time, say no and get your life back!
In this weeks episode I talk about the best ideas that have happened recently and no they weren’t my ideas, they came from the children…..not on the planning!
My Day - Out the door by half past 4 (or by 5pm)
After the reaction to my January resolution of leaving by 4.30-5pm each day and minimising work at home, which means I can go to the gym and running etc….I’ve recorded an episode where I talk through my day and actions I’ve put in place to protect my time!
Return of the Mc
In today’s episode I’ll talk about what I’ve been up to recently and cover CPD I’ve put on for staff and at a recent conference I led. Also covering ‘perfection limits progress’ in relation to stress and social media, a new focus child provision approach, the wow wall, new bits on my website and much more!
Part 2: Thank you for being a friend
This week we continue part 2 with my guest and former colleague Sarah. We talk about well being in teaching, how the balance can shift and what we did to make a positive change!
