I tried and tried to find something I love as much as this podcast, I have to say, nothing comes close.
It’s funny, dark, interesting, relatable ( well, ok only if you are in the sort of job we’re in!) and it’s endlessly entertaining. Perfection .
Horrifying, Funny, clever, thoughtful.
Moments of horror, thoughtfulness and humour all in a deadpan and somehow calming tone. This is so cleverly written, it isn’t just gruesome stories (and there is that) but it’s more, it’s all the context around those experiences, life’s little issues and giant unanswerable questions combined frame the stories with great writing. I love Grants voice and the way he tells his stories makes me want to be his friend. I’ve listened to all episodes and the epilogue. More please. This needs to be a Netflix series. Could be mesmerising.

Real eye opener. I’m sooooo glad I didn’t get the job at the funeral home I applied for a few year back. I never actually thought of the many ways funeral directors dealt with death. Now I know what amazing people you are.
