I know nothing about football but this is just so funny. I’m addicted.
A marmite podcast….
Having listened to the pod since the start I absolutely love the premise of the pod, the guests, David and Jon. However since the introduction of Alfie I feel that the tone of the pod has changed and has an air of cyber-bullying to it. It’s difficult to tell if the “banter” between David & Alfie v Jon is real or planned as I can’t believe Jon enjoys being antagonised by Alfie as much as he is but I find it uncomfortable sometimes as some episodes come across as “let’s just wind up Jon”. There is a difference between banter and bullying and sometimes it feels like Alfie is all about the latter. And David leans into it which can also make it cringe. Which is unfortunate given that it’s Jon that has given David the keys to the SJP kingdom….

Brilliant podcast which is extremely funny. Love the addition of Alfie and the new sections. Look forward to it every week!
