    Episode 158 - Ronald Searle.

This week Tony is re-joined by Eamonn from the Mega City Book Club podcast to discuss the incredible work of British cartoonist Ronald Searle.
A man described as 'Britain's finest cartoonist' was a man of many facets who survived being a P.O.W. in World War 2 and travelled the world and the page with the best line you'll witness.
We get somewhat carried away, and rightly so.
Plus there's news on the imminent release of DUI 3 which Eamonn has edited! Click on this link to grab an issue soon. All proceeds raise money for the mental health charity M.I.N.D.
You can also find Eamonn on his podcast right here.

A dystopian future city story about a sci-fi drug that avoids the cliches we see these days.

    See if you agree.

Warnings - This week features storylines with themes of Domestic Violence.
Tony and Alan discuss the two Superman family titles that precede the arrival of Doomsday and what becomes The Death of Superman.
To describe these two issues as 'filler' does them a disservice. They are powerfully told and definitely something you should read - and are also available on the DC App.

Damo Jedi ,

Everything you need!

Fantastic podcast that sticks out from the rest. Tony is very knowledgeable and laidback in his approach, bringing the same out of his guests. There is such a mix of comics discussed, so something for everyone!

Eamonn Clarke ,

In depth discussions about great comics

Tony is a very well read and informed host about comics, and he has some fantastic guests on to discuss some of the most important creators and titles of the last fifty years.

Moist Vyper ,

Comic Chief

Tony is a great if not perfect blend of personality and comic knowledge (and ability to read a vast amount of them). If you’re looking for solid and pure comic book review this is where to go. The comic talk is hotter than the vindaloo I’m currently eating (R.I.P my intestines), that hits you faster than the reboot of your casual friend’s favourite comic, and is more informed than what the typical Twitter user thinks they are on everything. I am actively licking door nobs coughing on people and coughing on people to ensure the pandemic and therefore NeverIronAnything podcast continues.
