Love this podcast, really rate what Sam says about the state of the game and how he had a very simple attitude towards it and believes it’s all trying to get to complicated when is essence it’s a simple game
Big Sam Love-in - Avoid like the plague
For a man and manager that revolutionised middling clubs, his views on modern football seem to be from a relic of the ages. He seems the sort of bloke that would vote for Brexit and complain about the things lost not knowing what it meant.
To top it off, Natalie Pike is so far up Sam’s backside, she can taste what he had for dinner. For a Man City supporter to be on a podcast labelled ‘No Tippy Tappy football’ is hypocritical, and she is only in it to advance her career.
Good pod/awful sound mix
The pod is good. Sam is brilliant, good guests. The sound mix is horrendous though! It will go from someone speaking quietly to Big Sam or Nat laughing into the mic and it just about blows out the speakers!!
Not saying Sam and Nat shouldn’t have fun. Far from it! But the sound engineers, should, do some sound engineering. The levels are all over the place.
