Back in 2010 I wanted to get into the NRL which wasn't covered that much in England so I googled NRL podcast and Not The Footy Show came up. I gave it a listen and haven't stopped since.
Back in the early days with Nick and Woz, the sound quality wasn't great but the content and humour was. As time passed Dave and Mr Peninsula came on board and the content and quality got even better (had a great tipping section in 2012 with an English guy who worked for a bookmaker and I won a few £).
Sadly the time and effort producing the podcast became too much for Woz (he never missed an opportunity to moan about it every show) and with his real work commitments becoming greater I thought NTFS was gone for good. Thankfully I followed NTFS on Twitter and couldn't believe it when Woz announced it was coming back!
Woz and Rob have brilliant chemistry, both are really knowledgeable and passionate about the game and I am so pleased they have resurrected the show and allowed me to remember why I love the game so much.
Great work guys and please keep it up, your time and effort is appreciated (and thanks for answering my question a few weeks back)!
