Award-winning BBC journalist Andrew Gold interviews deep and quirky outsiders, such as a Westboro Baptist Church defector and a female Mormon psychopath. Joining the mix are such celebrated thought leaders as feminist Helen Lewis, Lord Daniel Finkelstein and free speech advocate Andrew Doyle.
The aim is to surprise you with a totally different story every time in this 2x Apple Noteworthy show. One week, we're in a Michigan prison with a man who accidentally killed his girlfriend in a botched suicide, the next we're in Australia with the Coffin Confessor, and then we're in the Andes with a plane-crash survivor who had to eat his friends. The only thing that links them all is their place On the Edge.
This is for fans of Louis Theroux, Joe Rogan and Adam Buxton. New episodes every Monday.

My face blindness, memory loss...and Memento: Thomas Leeds
Thomas Leeds was hit by a car when he was 20, flipping over its roof, crushing the vehicle and landing on his head. Remarkably, he had few physical signs of trauma, so was released from hospital, before being taken back in later to remove a blood clot on his brain.
On his return home, he found he didn’t recognise home, or the people around him who were apparently his family. In fact, he’d pretty much lost all memory of anything from before the accident. Moreover, he developed face blindness, meaning he is unable to tell people apart from their faces.

Bonus Qs - Ep. 62: Thomas Leeds
This one is a little longer than usual, at 21 mins, rather than 10-15. Thomas had so much to say, we didn't even get round to answering all the questions. Fascinating insights from him!
The scientist who found out he was a psychopath: Dr. James Fallon
Dr. James Fallon is renowned for his work in psychopathy. But a chance occurrence led him to realise something dark about his own family history...and the brain scans concurred...
Sorry my lovely members for the delay - we only spoke last night, so I rushed to complete it. Something went wrong with my microphone (to add to the editing chaos). You'll hear during the interview it sounds rubbish, so a cable must have been loose. I considered recording over my parts of the interview for better quality - and then thought that is absolutely bonkers. It's still not too bad, but apologies it's not at its usual QUALITY!
Thanks for all your support - and hope you enjoy this one, I love interviewing psychopaths!

Varied topics sensitivity explored !
Listened to first 10 or so and enjoyed. As soon as he mentioned he had worked for the Sun that was enough for me and unfortunately won’t listen to any more.
