Excellent

Refreshingly intelligent analysis that draws on all of the evidence.

It’s so refreshing to hear a Beatles perspective from a female, emotionally intelligent point of view. They are using the individual Beatles own words and actions to fight back against the established narrative. Refreshing and informative.

Genuinely new takes on Beatles history

You might think there isn’t much more to say about the Beatles, but One Sweet Dream regularly breaks new ground with psychological and emotional readings of events in Beatles history that are both surprising and very logical in light of the evidence presented for them. Diana and her guests do a great job of dismantling some of the cliched interpretations of the Beatles story that are too often repeated by writers without this kind of in-depth analysis. A much more human picture of the Beatles emerges as a result, especially Lennon and McCartney, allowing even long term fans to see the songs in a fresh light. Highly recommended!
