Sarah Moshman is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker, TV Producer and TEDx speaker whose work has been featured on Upworthy, Marie Claire, Forbes, CNN and Good Morning America. She wants to tell stories that inform, uplift an inspire, believing that cinema can be a platform for conversation that creates change. We hear about her films: The Empowerment Project ( about ordinary women doing extraordinary things), and Losing Sight of Shore (in which a completely unsupported cox-less crew of four women row across the Pacific from the US to Australia). Her most recent film takes a look behind the headlines of #MeToo and Times Up. NEVERTHELESS follows the intimate stories of 7 courageous individuals who have experienced sexual harassment in the workplace or school context. From a writer's assistant on a top TV show to a Tech CEO and 911 dispatcher, the film shines a light on the ways in which we can shift our culture and rebuild.

Our host Lou Hamilton interviews Sarah who tells her about how, against all the odds she raises the money, researches and makes the films, and then with distribution company Indieflix has an innovative approach to getting the films seen globally.
