As a host Zobo is easy to like with her enthusiasm for the extreme horror genre. She has an extensive knowledge, isn’t afraid of the odd mistake along the way and has some very interesting and equally likeable guests. The whole listening experience is easy, informative and good fun as well. If you love extreme horror then I highly recommend this podcast

Not bad, however the swearing is not clever or edgy.

Found through The Evolution of Horror, I’ve become a massive fan of Zobo and lap up as much as I can.

If you’ve got a keen interest in the dirtier...more disgusting side of horror...Zobo With A Shotgun is the only guise you need.

Found out about Zobo through evolution of horror, so glad she has her own podcast now :) I’m super squeamish but love the fact that behind even the most gross out film, there is so much history to be found, and psychology to be explored. I also love that there are no airs and graces, it’s as much her exploration as ours, so we all get to learn about this wonderfully macabre sub genre together :)

I enjoy this podcast for the info, and Zobo's own opinion, but it does feel a little bit like the passion project of someone who still has a hell of a lot left to explore within the realms of horror, and her preferred choice of extreme horror. That's fine, and passion for horror is always something I love to see/hear, but it does make the podcast feel a little bit removed in execution (no pun intended) from where it wants to be in theory.
