Honest, informative and entertaining

As a very new hobbyist photographer, this podcast has opened up the history of photography to me through the discussions of photographers, books and art. Equally important is the focus on finding your own voice; both presenters have done in their own ways. The discussions are fascinating, particularly about the relationship of the photographer to their subject. Inspirational, irreverent and thought-provoking, as well as funny AF.

Hands-down favourite - actually ABOUT photography

Highly entertaining, funny, inspiring and informative / useful with great guests. I've discovered more great photographers and photography books (either directly or indirectly) that I'd never heard of before as a result of listening to these podcasts (I always end up down a rabbit hole). Not wanting to blow too much smoke up their proverbials but, as far as I can tell, there's nothing else out there that even comes close to this. Thanks chaps, sterling work.

Great podcast that I look forward to every week

I usually listen to this podcast on my way to my day job on a Monday morning when I’m packed onto a train, feeling slightly sad and trying to navigate my photography career. It gets me so inspired to learn about photographers who were the pioneers of my favourite medium, photography. The artists who first ever had these ideas and did almost unimaginable things to get the photographs. Lugging glass plates across countries on horseback, carrying large format cameras up mountains etc.
Ian and Bradley and their guests have a great dynamic and I like hearing their questions and answers regarding the industry. I usually don’t listen to podcasts regularly and I look forward to this every week. I feel it helps me in my own work as I have more conviction in my ideas and have a greater understanding of the history of photography.
