What I have learned as a seasoned sleep coach

What I have learned as a seasoned sleep coach

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of assisting numerous families in achieving peaceful and restful sleep routines within their homes. It's been evident that many mothers and some fathers – but let's be honest here, primarily mothers - have harboured
apprehensions about embarking sleep training programs.

The thought of potential tears and the idea of adjustments to current sleep patterns required often
    loomed large and felt overwhelming.

In this week's podcast hear how I have coached and supported parents through these transitions and what I have learned from it in my 7 years as a sleep consultant.

I would love for you to share this podcast with all your parent friends and let them know I am here to help you with my podcasts and more!

Don't forget to rate and review the podcast so it reaches more parents and carers out there on their child rearing quest and does bring a little spring to my step each day when I receive those likes!

I would love to hear from you also and so please let me know if there is a specific topic or question you have that you would like me to record a podcast about! I will respond to you personally and let you know when it will be released!

    Peaceful nights to you all,

A guide to dropping night feeds

💥 3 ways to stop night feeds! There comes a point in parenthood that you start to wonder “is my baby ready to drop night feeds and if so how do I do it”.

You may be a sleep wreaked parent reading this, broken from waking up to 10 times a night and finding yourself feeding baby back to sleep because it is the only way your baby will go back to sleep, you may be that parent who has an 18 month old waking in the night demanding milk and you are wondering does she really need it? But if I don’t give it to her she IS going to scream the house down…what can I do?This weeks podcast I am going to explain 3 ways you can drop night feeds and when it may be appropriate to do so and of course the science behind waking for feeds and how that can lead to a vicious cycle to continuingly wake for feeds in the night.

I would love for you to share this podcast with all your parent friends and let them know I am here to help you with my podcasts and more!

    Your 4 month old schedule

    Your 4 month old schedule

As new parents, the journey from birth to 16 weeks can pass
super quickly but for some it can go slowly, be really hard and exhausting. It is filled with joy, many questions every day and night and, of course that goes with a few sleepless nights to boot!

Sleep is a crucial aspect of your baby's development and as I explain in my Newborn Workshops, it is all about supporting that sleep, NOT sleep training.

You may start wondering how to establish healthy sleep
patterns at this age and ask what a schedule looks like for a 4 month old. In this weeks bitesized podcast I explain the sleep needs of a four-month-old, common challenges, and
some practical tips to ensure both you and your little one get the rest you need so you feel good about getting up and starting each day with an energetic smile!

I would love for you to share this podcast with all your parent friends and let them know I am here to help you with my podcasts and more!

Unravelling the role of nutrition in your baby's sleep

Unravelling the role of nutrition in your baby's sleep

As parents, we all strive to ensure our little ones get the essential sleep they need for optimal growth and development and of course to feel rested the following day so they are alert and no meltdown by 9am..!

While techniques like sleep training, establishing nap schedules, and bedtime routines are often discussed and implemented, the influence of nutrition on a baby's sleep is frequently overlooked. This is a major part of my sleep plans I create for my 1-1 families.

Join me in this weeks podcast as we explore the intricate connection between breastfeeding, formula feeding, introducing solids, and how they affect the quality of your baby's sleep.

Tips and tricks for Christmas sleep

Tips and tricks for Christmas sleep

Regardless of whether you have plans to travel this Christmas or not, I know that it's an incredibly thrilling time of year, especially for the children. After all, Christmas tends to revolve around them the most. However, amidst all the excitement, it's essential to consider the impact on their sleep. Excited toddlers may want to stay up later, hoping to catch a glimpse of Santa. Additionally, if you're going away for a few nights, they might be sleeping in a new bedroom or sharing a room with others and that may cause some anxiety in the family. But don't worry! In this week's podcast I give you simple tips to help you keep bedtimes on track during the holidays.

And that Zazu sheep clock..he is HERE!
