Great book chat

This is always a great listen. I really enjoy listening to interesting people talking enthusiastically and openly about their influential books. Check it out.

Interesting selection of books

Well worth a listen. Each of the authors comes up with some interesting selections, many of which I would never have found myself. Discussing the books without spoiling the plot can be tricky sometimes, and some interviews manage this better than others. One new podcast is released every month, so it is worth subscribing.

Glad I found it!

I came across these podcasts when I was looking for something to feed my interest in literature post-university. I was intrigued by the list of authors, particularly as I hadn't come across them before and like to find out about new books. I also liked the idea of asking them about their favourite novels and finding out why they enjoyed them so much - it can help me appreciate books I may have previously dismissed. The interviewer Alex facilitates well and lets the authors do most of the talking. He clearly enjoys the subject and has read his fair share, so holds his own in the discussion and asks relevant questions. My only complaint would be that the sound is very slightly fuzzy!
