As a young dancer who was forced to quit dance for several months while recovering from a major injury with improper medical advice, Dr. Alyssa learned how important it is that dancers are treated by someone who truly understands how to work with dancers.

Dr. Alyssa Arms is the owner of Back in Step Physical Therapy in Centennial, CO. In her clinic, she works with clients recovering from a variety of conditions and injuries, while also promoting wellness and prevention with her clients and community. One of her specialties is working with dancers, partnering with local studios and instructors.

In addition to her extensive training and experience as a physical therapist, Dr. Alyssa Arms has over 30 years of experience as a dancer, trained in ballet and pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, and salsa. She has also been an active national circuit competitor in West Coast Swing (WCS) since 2009, where she has also built a reputation as The WCS Physio.
