We take a fun look at what fats are good and bad for you whilst getting educated about things like cholesterol, triglycerides, omega 3 & 6 and which ones are anti-inflammatory and which ones are pro-inflammatory and trans fats. Using fermentation technology they are able to create fats and oils to make plant-based alternative proteins taste just as good as the original, but animal-free. They can flavour and get the mouthfeel to precisely reproduce the taste and texture of pork, beef, chicken, fish, milk, cheese and beyond. Large investors are seeing the potential opportunities especially since they have raised $11m for their seed round.
