Darjeeling 2nd Flush
Welcome to the teapot, Darjeeling 2nd Flush!
Emma and Jack have their first taste of Darjeeling 2nd Flush in episode 39 and discuss a few fun facts around this tea grown in India. We have some mixed thoughts on what is undeniably a tea classic, and some very unusual taste observations.
We also go through a whole bunch of brews we have been trying lately; there has been a lot of tea which is a beautiful thing!
Grab a mug and join the chats!

Huckleberry
Emma and Jack try huckleberry for the first time, in a tea that gets the chats flowing! This fruity little number was kindly sent all the way from Idaho (huckleberry is the state's national fruit), and in a time where we aren't allowed to travel this taste of the overseas was a joy.
We chat huckleberries (of course!), books and the art of biscuit dunkage in episode 38.

Beautiful Tea
Beautiful is the only word to describe this weeks tea, Mood Indigo by Daughters of Botany. Using the old fashioned postal service and modern day video calls I have a guest outside of my lockdown bubble! The wonderful Nicole Rogers, horticulture enthusiast (the woman owns a genuine greenhouse!) and yoga teacher, joins me to discuss this blue tea delight.
We talk gardens in episode 37 and discuss the inspired combination of yoga and the sea whilst sipping a hot brew that is as beautiful as its namesake's music.

Tea for the Great Outdoors
Have you ever sat atop a mountain and thought, 'if only I had a freshly brewed loose leaf tea with a squeeze of lemon'?
Well now you can! Find out how in Episode 36 of Pod of Tea. I am joined by my intrepid sister Alice Minihan to discuss her triathlon of new sporting hobbies, whilst drinking a Zesty Lemon tea from Sticksology; an inventive little number that is a loose leaf to go.
After this episode hopefully you will feel inspired to don some walking / running / adventuring boots and have a cuppa in the great outdoors!

Wow what a tea we have this week folks, a real unique flavour and aroma. Emma & Jack reminisce about snowy days and learn a little bit about how this milk tasting wonder is made in Episode 35. Definitely a tea to try yourselves.

Flavourings
What are flavourings?
This question has been plaguing Emma once she started noticing it on the back of tea packets in December. It has since cropped up on many a tea, simply listed as flavourings... how mysterious!
Join Emma & Jack in episode 34 as they discuss what a flavouring is (with some surprising answers...) with a few food and drink based discussion detours.
As tastes go, this week's peach and ginger black tea has got all the top marks, flavourings and all!
