Could be so much better....

I think the concept behind this podcast is pretty good and the idea of combining a good mathematically biased poker coach allied to mindfulness awareness content is excellent. However I am afraid I just can’t put up with the sanctimonious, self promoting and arrogant mindfulness “coach” anymore. The final straw was in this weeks episode when Gareth was chided for using the word “why” with his students but then the alternative approach (having had to listen to the brag of being a qualified therapist trainer) was ill thought out and poorly presented. I just can’t listen to that part of the podcast anymore. Gareth should find a guest each week instead (easier said than done admittedly) and generally fly solo because I feel he has a chance to really grow as a presenter of poker content. Eliot Roe did it and he should do the same.

What are they wittering on about?

It took so little by for them to stop wanging in about the whether before any poker chat happened. Then they blathered on aimlessly about poker generalities, and now I’m really bored.

Great listen!
I’ve only recently comes across the podcast so I’ve been catching up from the start of 2018 episodes. The mixture of discussions on contemporary poker issues as well as mindfulness really works well. I’m looking forward to the new releases soon, but for now I’ve got plenty of 2017’s episodes to catch up on! 😁 Thank you.
