Why football and politics DO mix

A podcast for the more discerning of listener I would suggest. Engaging, educational and entertaining. The words "...if we continue until the Autumn..." were mentioned on the "England's Elimination" podcast of July 12th. I do hope it continues until the Autumn and beyond. An essential listen.

The World Cup podcast for politics lovers

Not normally a football fan - but am very much enjoying Jason and Stephen chat World Cup politics and personalities. The episode with Alison McGovern MP & John Bew is particularly pacey ⚽️🌎⚽️

Football makes the world go round

One of the big reasons I have always found World Cups, along with other international sports, so compelling is that fascination with the far-flung and sometimes impenetrable corners of the world all these teams and their fans have come from, how does the emotional power of sport play out in their country and their culture. This podcast is on that wavelength and I'm loving it. Hoping for a discussion of the travelling female supporters of Iran at some point, and maybe a Dukla Prague away kit for Christmas.
