Popmaster

I’ve always loved Popmaster since I was first told all about it a couple of years ago, and always tried not to miss it. When the podcast launched soon after, I became overjoyed at the thought that it’s now even more unmissable no matter what. Even better is that the format is exactly as it is on the radio but without the musical interludes between each round.
I always save the episodes for when I’ve got 15-20 spare minutes of the day (particularly when I’m having breakfast and/or lunch) - whenever time I can listen though I’ll always answer along when I know, or at least think I do - I am almost always at least “one year out” if it’s 1979 or before (don’t ask me why).
My only con, and it’s only a small one, is the shout-outs the contestants are allowed to do. I usually skip these as I mostly find them irrelevant unless someone I know is taking part (that hasn’t happened to date). They never used to be part of the podcast version but I have a feeling as to why they’ve started featuring them here as well.
Other than that, I’d go as far as to tell the world not to change anything about Popmaster - coz I for one love it the way it is. Long may it continue!
