Coach Jay Pyatt, from The Couple Cure, returns to Porn Free Radio for a discussion about lying.
Matt has often said that lying was the "second addiction" he had to recover from. The habits around lying, hiding, keeping secrets, omission, and minimizing were just as strong as the porn was.

301 - Relapse is a State, Not An Event
Guys often see relapse as an event where a bottom-line behavior in engaged in. In this scenario recovery is measured by the absence of relapse events.
It's more helpful to see relapse as a state that we can easily enter in and out of based on our thoughts and actions. It's full of hiding, unsound activities, and unhealthy living.

Alpha & Omega
I’ve been listening to Matt’s podcast for almost two years now. I’ve listened to every episode. I remember when I 1st found the podcast. I was so excited to learn that there is help out there. I still look forward to each episode.
I can tell Matt puts a lot of thought into each episode carefully considering each element of the subject he chooses to discuss. He may not be a trained councillor but he does have experience, recovery & a desire to help others.
I’ve learned loads from him and his podcasts have been a major contributor to my recovery. Thanks Matt.
If this podcast is not currently part of your recovery plan then you need to correct this and subscribe right away.
This was my 1st addiction recovery podcast and I will continue to listen to it to the end.
Great stuff
I would recommend this podcast to anyone struggling with PMO addiction. I'm atheist but he gives great practical insights, keeping religion in the background. Many thanks to him.
