Seemingly unique

It's great to have a podcast specific to women's cycling - there's loads for mens (even though they are usually advertised as being about "professional cycling" in general they rarely even give women's racing a casual mention)

Comprehensive, critical & conversational

This weekly podcast covers all disciplines of professional women’s cycling, including paracycling, in an irreverent style. The depth, breadth and quality of coverage of female professional cyclists and the issues around their sport put the male-focused, traditional media and so-called specialist press to shame.

During the season the podcast focuses on race reports and previews, discussion of issues affecting the women's sport, and tips on how to follow particular races or riders online. During the off-season in-depth interviews with the international stars of women’s cycling reveal the characters beneath the helmets in the peloton and those supporting the sport's growth.

The podcast is comprehensive and international in scope and coverage. The British and Australian presenters are very knowledgable and engaging. They occasionally use strong language, as when chatting among friends. They are refreshingly incisive and critical. The pair offer perceptive, thought-provoking commentary on equality issues that, as a man, I find helpful to recognize more of the latent inequalities in the world.

The podcast, as a hub for English-speaking fans of the sport, has initiated and supported campaigns to promote, change and develop the women’s sport.

Enjoy!
