We have a brand new guest on this month’s podcast, coming all the way from the land of canals, tulips and bicycles!  Samuel Hemmings from Hemco Properties tells us all about how he started in property as a student (using his student loan to buy a house) all the way to investing in the student market of Huddersfield - famous for Patrick Stewart, Huddersfield Town football club and Last of the Summer Wine.  Honestly it’s practically a history lesson.  We talk about learning on every project, getting the right team of people around you and the best piece of advice that you’ve ever been given.

Ok so we’re playing host roulette again!!  This week it’s the turn of Niall to be away and so Jo and Matt are flying soloish!!  Jo is surrounded by a 90th birthday party and is obviously having a raucous time during this record so if you hear a bit of background noise that’s what it is.  Elsewhere they talk about how sometimes it takes longer than you think to complete deals and some of the reasons behind this.  Both Matt and Jo have personal tales of woe on this subject and as ever there’s no holds barred in sharing them with us.  We’d love your thoughts on this episode so please do get in contact via all the usual ways across social media.  Enjoy!
