I have been listening to this podcast in the background whlst I "try" to build my new business and the tips and advice is really useful. what prompted me to write a review was episode 14. It was so honest- which I think is lacking these days within the industry, a lot of bloggers/influencers try to be real but end up coming accross a little contrived.. Her honesty is enderearing and makes her advice all the more important and valid. This is more than just a creative business podcast, its business, advice, real stories and mostly about life struggles.

Entertaining

But not real business tips. Just some common sense advice.

Thoughtful, wise and so relevant to modern creatives

I listen to a lot of podcasts but have found Beth’s to be so incredibly helpful in terms of distilling wisdom from real people that are successful in a chosen field. Her choice of guests is spot on- it’s not all about Instagram but real stories from people of many different fields and exposing the struggles really helps me to understand myself that it takes real persistence and courage to carve a creative life out for yourself. I love learning about the real day to day reality and getting raw with the nitty gritty of what it actually takes to ‘make it’ as an entrepreneur. I listen to a lot of Tim ferris podcasts but sometimes find his guests a little too far removed from my reality and have found Beth’s guests so much closer to where I currently am in my own head and creative journey. Particularly loved the interview with Satsuki, a really great insight into how creatives can channel different passions and interests to make a career that is multi dimensional. I would absolutely love to know more about morning habits and such from these guests as I find the real day to day stuff so interesting. Thank you so much Beth, your podcast is wonderfully inspiring xx
