Every now and then on the Ri Podcast I have a guest that gets me a little bit star struck. I think to myself, this is not a person I thought I’d have the chance to sit down with for a 60-min conversation.

That's where I am today with Mike Hood.

Until 2018 Mike was the Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force. He’s advised Prime Ministers, lead engagements around the world, and interacted with some of the top political and military leaders of our time.

Today he’s the President of JDS Operational Technologies, a division of the JDS Group of Companies, focused on the introduction of innovative and disruptive technologies to the resource sector.

In this far reaching podcast we talk:

Mr. Stanford is the CEO of Rhyolite Resources and an executive with 40 years of experience in the mining industry. Mr. Stanford served as President and CEO of Torex Gold Resources from 2009 to 2020, and as Executive Chairman from mid-2020 to mid-2021.
