Better than anything Stewart Lee would do

Genuinely the most entertaining podcast in the world

Richard Herring was not a part of my life growing up as Lee and Herring passed me by in my formative years. I switched on to the podcast as a result of the news cycle created by Stephen Fry’s confession about suicide. Richard Herring manages to stumble his way through interviews with occasional crassness and frequent awkward moments and yet produces the most interesting long form podcast in the world. I have learnt a huge amount about the craft and challenge of comedy, both writing and performing, from some of the most fascinating people. All of this stems from the genius that is Richard Herring. He is self deprecating and bombastic in the same breath leaving you confused as to his madness or his genius. The chaotic and unscripted conversations that he is able to achieve with guests most used to shoehorning in gags to any of their traditional media appearances is a gift and one he kindly given to us all. Thank you Richard for such a brilliant piece of work and long may it continue. I will now buy a f**** ng badge!!!
