Prime Ministers and their Special Advisers, Episode 3 - David Cameron and Steve Hilton
Episode 3 of our Special Advisors series, exclusively for backers...
Steve Hilton was a driving force behind David Cameron’s Big Society, a plan which was dropped in government.
He wore shorts and a t-shirt, so the media assumed he was a ‘progressive,’ and yet ended up on Fox News backing Trump without changing a single view.
He and Cameron were close friends but no longer speak to each other... So what really happened? -

Can Boris Johnson Make A Comeback?
Some Conservative members want their next Prime Minister to be... Boris Johnson. A man who shares this view is... Boris Johnson himself, who anticipates a return to Number 10 despite the current race to replace him.

The Tory Leadership Contest
To my surprise we are learning a lot from the contest even though the candidates are saying very little. The biggest lesson so far: Get ready of political storms this autumn when the winner seeks to implement their economic policies. Also this week, more of your brilliant questions.

Customer Reviews
Kirsty Potts - Illuminating & entertaining
Detailed and in-depth but also easy to listen to and follow. I really enjoy Steve’s relaxed and informative approach backed up by his far reaching knowledge. And it’s made all the more entertaining by his interment but hilarious impersonations of all the political characters he’s discussing. Gives Mike Yarwood a bit of a run for his money. Highly recommended.
Thank You Steve
Really enjoy your Dateline London contributions and your podcasts are my essential listen. Insightful explanations broaden my outlook no end. Is it true Dateline London is to be axed?
Paul McF
The most insightful political podcast around. Each week Steve combines an encyclopaedic knowledge of post war UK political history with wit an humour to take listeners through the latest twist and turns of UK politics. He also actively seeks to have a debate with listeners on issues and is not afraid to be challenged on his view e.g. proportional representation. I would definitely recommend it to anyone genuinely interested in UK politics, whatever your political persuasion.
