What’s been missing in my music life

With weekly music magazines and the Guardian music weekly podcast stopping many years ago now I was really missing a weekly hit of new music, interviews and anecdotes. Thank God Rough Trade stepped up and now I never miss a week. Please keep up the good work!

What did I do before the Rough Trade Podcast!?

With the decline of the likes of NME and the rise of digital media it was about time someone filled the void with a decent magazine show - and this show fills the void perfectly.

The features are fun and interesting, the music picks are brilliant (my record collection is rapidly growing with expert guidance from the chirpy host), the overall format is just right and the gossipy chitchat nature of the show makes me feel like I’m in the room and engaged in the conversation.

They’ve struck the perfect balance between keeping me up to date with the latest music and the respect shown to more established acts.

Don’t know what I’d do without it, or how I struggled along before discovering it.

Simply put, I. LOVE. THIS. SHOW.

More of the same please!
