    Mike is a veteran coach who has worked with athletes at every level of competition. In 2018 he retired from an incredible 42 year career coaching at St Catherines Rowing Club and Brock University. He is recognized in the rowing community as one of the foremost authorities on rigging and his book "Notes on Rowing: Rigging" is a fixture on many coaches' bookshelves. More recently you can find Mike continuing his efforts to advance education in the sport through his website percerverance.ca, where he offers camps, clinics, custom rigging services and frequent, in-depth stroke analyses for those that follow his work on the Rowing Purcerverance Facebook page.

    Justin Farina is a high school Phy Ed teacher by trade as well as a high performance indoor rower with multiple podium finishes at the World and Virtual World Indoor Rowing Championships. Having found rowing through Cross-Fit, Justin's success and experience has come without any exposure to the on-the-water aspect of our sport. In this episode we explore Justin's journey in the sport and the unique perspective he brings as an earthbound high performance rower with zero exposure or experience with the on the water side of rowing.

    He is also the author of The Carnivore Diet, which explores a paradigm-breaking nutritional strategy to address both chronic and modern health issues.
