"Hi, I’m Kate, mum of two toddlers, avid traveller (before kids!) and passionate about equality and social change.
I have management experience in the travel and the event industry and studied Development Studies & Geography at SOAS (The School of Oriental and African Studies). I have travelled to 120 countries and have worked around the world.
I am always dreaming of future adventures. However, since having two children, travel is at the bottom of the priority list. I would love to take my young children to different countries, but it is not only expensive but also physically and mentally demanding.
After many conversations with other parents of young children, I learnt that we were not the only ones in this predicament. Consequently, I decided to find a way to create experiences for parents to help their young children learn about the world but in a way that is convenient, easy and affordable. I hope to provide a foundation for young children to be inspired to learn about the world so they can grow up to one day experience their favourite countries first hand; and if they have heritage from a different country, I hope to create a space where they can be proud of themselves and their family’s culture."
