100 Words of Astounding Beauty

s04e09 - Homages IV (Hout Bay Panto)

A flash-fiction podcast where a handful of writers create an original story with a limited wordcount in a limited amount of time. In this episode we meditate on Muppets and wombs as we homage each other's stories.

The stories are: 'A Record of the Custom of the Sun Bird Avatar,' by Amelia Armande, an homage to 'Queuing' by Ella Brasington,

'HellBattle 2: Behold - Devil Goat,' by by Joshua Crisp, an homage to 'One B' by Paul Davies,

'A Muppet Biohazard' by Paul Davies, an homage to 'Four and a Half Stars, Highly Recommended,' by Amelia Armande,

'Deliverance,' by Ella Brasington, an homage to 'Soilomancy' by Tom McNally,

'The Theory of Positrons,' by Tom McNally, an homage to 'A Warm Reception,' by Joshua Crisp.

Featuring listener submission: 'That's by fiancé' by Christopher T. Dubrowski, whose drabbles have been adapted by animator Zoe Szymon.

Joshua Crisp presents 'An Evening of Greek Myths' with Rope Tackle Storytellers at The Bookshop in East Grinstead on Thursday the 23rd of July. Visit us on our website, on Instagram, and send us a story on story@100wordsofastoundingbeauty.com.
