LFYC | S3 E22 – Obi Abuchi interviews Carole Simb
On this week’s Leading from Your Core Podcast and Vodcast, Obi Abuchi interviews Carole Simb | A
Journey of Resilience
Carole Simb arrived in London in the late nineties, where she worked for Eurostar, British Airways and
Food show Catering Company. There she learnt the best catering techniques and acquired her excellent
customer service skills, putting a smile on every customer's face.
In 2013, Carole trained at the prestigious and internationally renowned Crêperie "Au Soleil Breton
Kervengard" in Brittany, where she was awarded a certificate of excellence in crêpe making.
Located in London, at the heart of multicultural and diverse food culture, Carole felt the need to bring a
taste of Guadeloupe to the UK. She had always wanted to create something of her own. So, armed with
her entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for food and a degree from the University of Life, she began Crêperie
Guadeloupe in June 2013.

Taking a leap of faith, Carole acquired a quirky little Piaggio van which she converted into an amazing,
eye-catching mobile crêperie. Since then, she has built up a large fan base in South West London for her
traditional exotic crêpes.
