S5 E1: Tommy Morris from Bruise Control Shout Louder Punk Podcast

    • Music

This week's guest is the infamous Tommy Morris from Bruise Control and Terrorpins! Bruise Control are a new garage punk band from Manchester who have garnered a lot of well-deserved hype. They're about to be unleashed upon their first UK tour, in the company of Sniff, one of the UK punk scene's most exciting new acts. To celebrate, Sarah decided to chat to Tommy about all things touring.

Tommy's been playing in DIY bands since he was a teenager and has a wealth of stories, experience and anecdotes ... but instead of discussing music, we went on a rant about Christmas presents and homophobic songs from the 1980s. We did manage to cover various death-defying tour experiences, wax lyrical about how much we both love Sniff, and Tommy tells us all about that last-minute Pizzatramp set at Manchester Punk Festival.

Tommy supplied the olives. Sarah vaguely tried to keep things on track. Daisy, the cat, offered a series of distractions.

The closing track is 'Taxman' by Bruise Control.
