During the dark times, on the heels of the Star Wars Special Edition, circa early 90's Dark Horse comics got the rights to create new #StarWars stories. Dark Empire was set some time after the events of the Return of the Jedi giving fans a taste of a sequel story before the sequels we now know.

Many things have been said about this series of stories. Dani and Ro take a deep dive into the first set of stories. We explore some similar themes to the sequel trilogy and rediscover what worked and what didn't. PLUS, some voicemails from the Twitterverse. Thank you.

Star Wars coffee table books are on the menu this week, a topic suggested by Twitter follower Brian Buck. Focusing on the huge Chronicles book, we dive in to some of our favorite books and why. Star Wars is one of the most documented franchises out there and fans have been lucky enough to browse through tons of pictures and concept art through some of the book's most visually rich collections.

Besides the wonderful Chronicles book, we take a look at some of our other favorite books and confess that we've found some books lurking on shelves that we didn't even know we had.
