What is says on the tin

I’d like to hear more of what Juliane thinks, but she can hardly get a word in edge ways.. honest reviews and thoughts on the sf books they’ve read.

Entertaining and informative

Luke reviews books. Used to be just SF, but now SF and fantasy. He does so with wit, charm and a large dose of intelligence. I wasn't initially a fan of the double acts with his girlfriend Juliane, but I have really come to like them too.

Waaaaay too long

This review is on the basis of soldiering through episode 188, the Solaris review. If this podcast is anywhere near as good as other reviewers are saying, don't start with the Solaris episode.
There was some useful information in this episode, so i don't feel that the hour and a half was a complete waste of my time. But it really needn't have been an hour and a half long.
It seriously needs edited down, but i suspect (given how much time he spends talking over his girlfriend) that Luke is too much in love with the sound of his own voice to cut a single syllable of his rambling from the recording.
