Good show but could do with a couple more voices
Weekly listener. Love the passion for the championship and timeliness of episodes. Some good opinions as well although could do with a couple more voices (I.e bringing back other podcasters into the show would provide some fresh perspectives)
Controversial takes for soundbites don’t make a good podcast lads
Stay well away if you want informed, insightful discussion into the championship from 2 lads who know what they’re talking about, rather than these who have a quick scan of the xG & watch the YouTube highlights before jumping behind the Mic
Listened to a good few of these, and the basic idea seems to be 2 mates, arguing over games they’ve watched the highlights of trying to say something controversial?
Ryan has some irritating air of arrogance around every opinion he has, as if labelling himself a “championship expert” wasn’t bad enough. Takes such as “I can definitely see Tommy Conway being a golden boot contender this season” off the back of his only 2 goals.
Justin is more sensible, but just let’s the other one steamroll him with his brash manner as if his is the only option that counts. I assume this is so they can clip it, upload it to Twitter for interactions in which listeners obviously point out the flaws in these “championship experts” opinions.
Either way, it doesn’t make for very enjoyable listening.
