The focus of the podcast is to explore how we empower women living with HIV In the consultation room and beyond. Jo shares with us some of the challenges women experience when accessing care and what we can do in our roles to help that. The importance of sharing of knowledge is addressed and finding ways to support people to access the care they need.

Jo is a communications consultant with background in journalism, broadcasting, public relations, crisis communications and media training. Jo has been living with HIV for a number of years and has a wealth of experience in this area of care. Jo is the communication officer for the British HIV Association and has held a number of role in the HIV sector.
