Best sewing podcast I’ve heard

Excellent information

Some good info but not always the case

I thought I’d give this a go as I’m always open to learning more to get improve my sewing practice. I’m working my way through the back catalogue but have skipped some episodes as they can be quite frustrating to listen to. Be aware that any episodes that relate to buying a machine turn into a sales pitch for Babylock, which the two presenters are dealers for. A little bit of promotion of a favoured brand is ok but a whole episode berating any other brand a feeling so sorry for anyone who has to suffer using these machines is just a waste of my time. Zede is often going on about how annoying the bad information that you can find on the internet is, but I have just listened to the first Sewcabulary episode and Mallory seemed to have “guessed” at the meaning of moulage and got it wrong! She kept saying she wasn’t sure about it. Please, if you’re going to give information get it right! This is what prompted me to write this long review. I will probably continue to listen but am now taking the information they provide with a large pinch of salt.

Good duo

Im writing this review because they are forever asking us to, but I also wanted to say that I adore Zede. She used to be a nurse and I’m one too so I have common ground with her. I love how straight talking she is. I love how this podcast is so full of technical information and you can tell the pair know what they are talking about. I don’t mind that they interrupt each other as it makes it more real to me I listen when I’m sewing and I really get stuff done when I do. Keep up the good work Zede and Mallory.
