The Rolling Stones – Goats Head Soup feat. Chris Cester (Jet)

#52. We are joined by Australian music royalty and drummer of Rock band ‘Jet’ Chris Cester. We discuss him hanging with Taylor Hawkins in first class, his thoughts on the recent breakdown within his old touring pals Kasabian, knocking around and touring with The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney gate crashing him onstage, the profession that is being groupie, epic tour stories, supergroups, and as is the way on The Golden Ducks podcasts the obligatory classic Gallagher Brothers stories.Dialling in from LA Chris was generous, endearing and incredibly funny and even put his burger on hold whilst he finished a near 3 hour podcast with us where we tucked into The Rolling Stones 11th studio album ‘Goats Head Soup’.A special shout out to his other half Steph for her patience whilst we stole her man for a few hours and we urge you to listen right through to the end for the greatest podcast sign off ever!

Pure (Walt) Gold!

I’m a late comer to these fantastic podcasts, which are like eavesdropping on two old mates in a record store. Thoroughly entertaining and even occasionally informative! I’m wondering why TD goes to gigs, as it seems he can never actually remember them! Music nerd (me) heaven 🤘
