Join Christine as she guides you through all the happenings in the fast-paced world of Formula 1. Post-F1 Paths - The broadcaster
Hello and welcome to the latest mini series from Sidepodcast – Post-F1 Paths. Here we are assessing the options available to Formula One drivers when they are finally ready to hang up their helmets, or if they have been politely requested to do so by their teams. This is the penultimate show and today we are looking at a gig for a driver who wants to remain close to the sport on race weekends, but perhaps wants a more relaxing time of it.
Post-F1 Paths - The athlete

Post-F1 Paths - The cross-discipline

Post-F1 Paths - The entrepreneur
Hello friends and welcome to Post-F1 Paths, a mini series brought to you by Sidepodcast that tracks some of the options available to drivers once their career in Formula One is over – either by choice or not. Yesterday we talked about drivers who find it hard to cut ties with the sport, but today it’s a group that have turned their attentions to other endeavours – this is the entrepreneur.
I found the longer episodes, specifically those with guests brilliant to listen to and the regular quiz they run has a real personality to it (like old episodes of question of sport).
They also have great interviews with a F1 writer that really expose what is going on behind the scenes.
The only area to be improved is the robotic reading style used in the scripted short updates, the conversational aproach used in the longer podcasts is much better.
Fantastic F1 podcast!
I started messaging the guys from this podcast after they followed mine, F1 Everything, on SoundCloud. With life getting in the way, I have finally gotten round to listening to Sidepodcast and I have to say, it's excellent. Very informative and you can really tell the passion between the two hosts! Subscribed and looking forward to hearing more!
If you want an entertaining and informative podcast, don't download this as it is neither.
I would suggest you check out the excellent Midweek Motorsport from RadioLeMans (which is the best motorsport podcast out there) if you want information and F1Rejects if you want a laugh.
