Emily

I have wanted to contact you and your family since Emily’s passing. But it is hard to find an appropriate place to do so (and I am pretty sure this is not it) so I apologise.

I just wanted to say she was glorious.

Her videos meant something.

She made me braver. She stood up to the devils of her mind, and always out thought them, out worked them. She was too smart and too great.

I will not lie in platitudes and pretend some supernatural being stole her away for a greater meaning, because that is not what happened.

What happened is that the world was robbed of a wonderful woman. Too short. Too great.

Her work on fertility treatment demystified it, she stood at the vagard of feminism. She embraced her good looks and undermined them with the honesty of her anxiety and depression, and then set about rebuilding it with her new found confidence.

Ultimately what you are left with is a human. A brilliant one. That I personally will miss very much.

Look after each other.

From Paddy.

Wow!

This is such an amazing podcast - I have been looking for one that was honest, funny and related to my life as a 26 year old… it fulfilled all of my specifications. I listened with a sad heart but laughed just as much. What a wonderful and strong thing to do a year on in your sisters memory👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I’m so grateful to Emily

I very sadly only found Emily when I rad the headline explaining of her tragic accident. I raced to YouTube to find out who she was and I fell in love with Emily instantly. Then I felt grief stricken that this beautiful, talented and amazing young woman was taken from the world way too soon and in such a horrific way. I watch Emily’s videos in rotation every day at the moment (not every video every day but a couple here and there) because I am going through some heartbreak. I find so much comfort in Emily, and for some reason she gives me hope. She encourages me to get out more and live my life.
I also fell in love with Emily’s family because of the videos… I’ve often wondered how you are all coping and what life is like for you now. I found this podcast because I searched Jessica on Instagram and found the beer account (great insta btw!).
My gosh these last two episodes most have been SO hard for you all. You’re all a credit to Emily and by you guys carrying this on I think you’re all amazing.
I would love to hear more. You’re all so interesting and I love the way you interact. Please continue (if you feel you can). It would be lovely to hear from you all again with a 2 year update… Sending you all my love, Lindsay xxxx
PS Emily has helped me more than she will ever know and she is continuing to help so many with her legacy on YouTube, she was a true Angel on earth. ❤️
