Done with love and great banter. A great podcast to celebrate the unsung comedy Sledge Hammer! I heartily recommend both.

Gerry and Iain do a great job reviewing each episode in their very listenable relaxed way. I'd recommend all their podcasts - Columbo, Star Trek, Jonathan Creek , Fawlty Towers and Quantum Leap, to name but a few. All the episodes of Sledgehammer are currently on YouTube .

Sledge Hammer is a truly underrated classic from the great comedic mind of Alan Spencer. Its bemsing for me that a Podcast has never been attempted.. until now! I couldn't think of a better team to attempt this too.. The team behind the fantastic Columbo Podcast! Sledge not only shares tropes from its main influence Dirty Harry but of course from the 70's Universal Studios era of crime drama such indeed as Columbo, Rockford Files, McCloud et al and sends them up unmercifully and rightly so! Sledge is not only a send up of US crime drama but also pop culture in general and was post modern before the team became trendy! I do trust these guys.. I believe they know what there are doing and look forward to many enjoyable episodes to come! GOOD LUCK! GIVE IT YOUR BEST SHOT!!
