Brilliant podcast for an indie start up
I am thrilled to have found this! I have just stumbled across this on Spotify and kicked off by watching the first few episodes of season 5 back to back. What an inspiring format and content. If you run a small business or start up you are going to want to listen. I have already taken action after listening to Leona’s podcast and joined the Indie Roller community.
Gender Biased???
Ok, I have to explain....I make and sell my own handmade crafts and when im doing craft and art shows, the people I normally talk to and have known for a while are all women. We have a great laugh and share any problems we have etc etc but....I am finidng that the vast majority of podcasts for creatives are done by women for women, in that they assume that all arty crafty makers are all women! Even finding local networking groups for creatives are all women, no men are ever found there, why is this. I know there are lots of male artists, cermacists, photographers, crafters out there but they are never interviewed on blogs and podcasts, why not? Im not complaining im just curious why its always assumed that its only women who start a craft business......
What an inspirational podcast!
I love listening to 'Small and Mighty Conversations' as it's so easy to listen to and the guests have great stories.
The flow of the conversations seems so natural - like you are a fly on the wall with two friends.
Can't wait for season 4
