Many of us dream of the day we become parents, the day we first get to hear our babies heartbeat, the day we get to tell our loved ones we are having a baby, the day we excitedly grab the hospital bag and go to meet our first born ~ Tragically this dream can be shattered as quickly as it is created. 1 in 4 pregnancies in the UK end in loss at birth or during pregnancy (Tommys ONS).
In this heartbreaking episode, in support of baby loss awareness week, and in memory of darling Ruby; one of my dearest friends shares her story.
It is Vicki’s hope, along with many others, that conversations, knowledge and awareness will encourage a movement in the right direction of preventing these devastating statistics and support, as best we can, all those affected by baby loss.
